Soft, sweet, and elegantly spiked, Val’s Candy is a Medium Semi-Cactus Dahlia that charms with its pastel beauty and refined form. A sport of ‘Hillcrest Candy’, this variety was introduced in 2012 and quickly drew attention for its exhibition quality blooms and garden versatility.
The flowers open from a soft lemon centre, fading outward into creamy white petals kissed with delicate undertones of candy pink and lavender. Each bloom is well-formed and lightly blushed, giving it a dreamy, romantic presence that’s equally suited to garden beds, pots, and the vase. With strong stems and excellent structure, Val’s Candy is both a show bench contender and a garden delight.

Dahlias should be planted after the risk of frost has passed and will continue to bloom from early summer until mid-autumn. For optimal growth and flowering, choose a sunny spot to plant the tubers, as Dahlias thrive in full sun.
